The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

I was really pleased to see the above inaugural meeting occur on October 15. I hope it was highly productive, and like most here, I await the physical changes on the Dreamland site.
As that classic song says "it's been a long time coming, but change is gonna come". This has surely been quite a momentus year with all the global happenings Stateside too. Sure it's been tough but we all have to keep the faith.
Hopefully the combined calibre of the Trust team will create our perfect vision. I for one cannot wait to see it realised to put Margate back on the map.

If you haven't read the news page for a while, it's worth visiting. There's a great composition of what a future Dreamland could look like.
