ive had a look on roller coaster data base and it listed quite a few so it all depends on where this looping star is :)

After looking closely at the photos it doesn't seem to be the Looping Star from Dreamland 1982 - 1995. The one at Margate had only one siding for one spare train but the one for sale appears to have two. Will make some enquiries and try to find out.

i always though the one at loudoun was the old dreamland coaster, this one has a lighter line on it although it could possibly be an old picture.ps nick have you heard about any ride removals at blackpool pleasure beach as part of a wall at the side of rollercoaster has been removed. It could be something as innocent as rebuilding the wall but i would hate it if another wooden coaster bit the dust without dreamland getting the chance of it.

I'm not sure where Margate's Looping Star is now. It was at Loudiun and then moved to VidamPark in Hungary. It closed at the end of this season and has now been dismantled.

Can not find any info with regards to it being up for sale or re-located, but the one listed is the same colour VidamPark painted Margates coaster.

The cars have also been re-themed to look like trains. I believe this happened in 2003.

I rode the Looping Star in Hungary back in 2005...was running like a new coaster! Shame it has been dismantled.
