I suggest you talk to the Dreamland Trust before you continue on this route.

Whilst everybody who supports the campaign agrees with you on a personal level that the whole site should be an amusement park, there is one little problem, it's not up to us.

The existing setup is a deal that has been arranged between the campaign, the council and the owners of the land, who as I understand it are signing over 51% of the plot to the Trust as well as probably some cash.

If you want to trash the agreement by causing trouble, the owners of the land may well decide to pull out of some or all of the deal, and the result could be no Amusement Park.

Your good intentions might result in disaster.

All I am saying is be careful and talk to the trustees.

Thank you for taking my suggestions in the manner they were offered.

100% might just be too much to aim for, and 51% in the ownership of the Trust is putting it into good hands. If it was owned by a company or individual they might still change their minds at some point, but the Trust will run the park as a park unless it is impossible to do so.

I have heard different things about the remaining space, housing might be a worry but the council should impose a rule that they accept any noise from the park (in my opinion). If it doesn't go to housing and some sort of civic amenity is built, that shouldn't be a problem.

Does anyone have real infomation about the remaining space?
