The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

Hi All,
Just got back from visiting Dreamland.....or should I say what used to be Dreamland....Got out of the car an saw the scenic sparkling, but that was about it. Didn't realise that Dreamland was so bare..a million miles away from what it used to be....i'm so sad.
What can we do........

Just got back home and wanted to post a quick thank you to everyone involved in organising the event last night. We had a good night and felt that the effort that went into the sound and lighting really paid off (I still don't like eating bubbles though

)
The Scenic looked great lit up and this definitely got it noticed and brought extra people in judging by comments from some of the people entering as we went off to get our food.
