Dr Who and Dreamland?

The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

Dr Who and Dreamland?

In the trailer on TV for the Dr Who Xmas special, Dr Who is seen saying:

Dreamland? I've always wanted to go there...

Plot line to include an inter stellar ride on the Scenic, an encounter with the Master on the Caterpillar and the Cybermen plodding around the carousel!

The making of these cartoons was featured on the local BBC South East News last week. Rather ironically the shows were produced by a Brighton based company, so a seaside connection is there!
