I will just say that I always thought Dreamland's entrance was far less grand and impacting than a theme park entrance should be, so I wouldn't exactly clamour for a return to the days when you got it by walking down an alley

I most certainly did, JM!

It might be interesting to ask at this stage how close you feel you can come to the master plan, and if there are any changes to it- ideas being what they are, they tend to evolve and grow.

I really do hope that whatever it ends up as, your idea comes to fruition. Dreamland wasn't just a great place to spend a day, it was the one thing we had which dragged London money to Thanet and we need that money back again!

We created this masterplan keeping in mind what could realistically be done. The locomotive of the project will definitely be the rebuilding of the Scenic, and in essence everything will evolve from that.
The concept that drove me was inspired by a trip to Tivoli in Copenhagen. On a Friday night, the park is packed with people, and most of them are there for a stroll, or a meal, maybe a few rides. Behind their Scenic (Rutschebanen) is a side street with cozy places to eat or drink. It's really amazing. I wish Dreamland can become (again) something like this.
