The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

Thanks everybody for your messages. Shockingly, I was 41 yesterday. I know, hard to believe.
Not sure that I would describe it as a 'GORGEOUS' day - I was repairing our farm shop for most of it. But it is certainly nice to think that there is another year now until I have to go into hiding again!

Sorry Nick - meant to post a "best wishes" last night.
Wow - I need to rewind those years now! I'm careering towards the end of that decade sadly (keep saying it's only a number).
Glad you managed to have some fun yesterday anyhow.
Martin
PS Hope to see a fair few faces at the now sold out Walpole Bay Hotel film night on May 13,
