i was wondering if any old beaver creek rides have or could be donated to the sdc nick.I know zipper dipper and loggie and a couple of other rides are safe,dont know about the junior turnpike though

You need to have a proper plan and strategy rather then just pile in any ride that is going.

Dreamland as well will not survive on facilities that just cater for people that like fairground rides. The number of people that holiday in the UK is small. The numbers that are intereted in fairground rides is minimal. The average holiday make in the UK that goes to seaside resorts is over 55.

The holiday season in the UK is now little more then 2 months. To have any hope at all of being vinancially viable it has to provide facilties for locals if it does not it will fail very quickly

Most of the Pleasure beach appears to be closing so just wait around long enough and you could probably pick up the pepsi max big one

Seriously though the park wasn't looking great last weekend with a few rides closed, the bonus was they appear to be repairing the roller coaster.

Yes, it needs wooden coasters, merry go rounds, sheltered housing for the homeless, a set of completely fictional set of statistics about seaside holiday makers and a Lidl. All things that attract people visiting a historic ride based amusement park.

barcrest, PBB are completely revamping the old "Beaver Creek" area of the park. Roller Coaster and Zipper Dipper are getting new paint jobs and new names. A lot of the rides are going (most of them standard affairs anyway) and the entire area is being worked on as we speak. That's why PBB is looking a bit iffy on that side. No idea on the Turnpike kevin, I'm sure I heard it was going to be retained...

The best thing for me over that side was seeing them replacing wood on the roller coaster as i had feared that was closed for good. Apparently beaver creek is going nickelodian themed or somethign with sponge bob square pants themes and the like

I guess Bob didn't die from eating too much junk food. His junk opinions and "facts" are all intact.

There's still plenty of room for acquired vintage rides.
