Margate Caves under threat

You've got us all guessing now Vince. If it has any remote connection with politics then I guess we could all pre-empt a few things.

Hopefully all will be revealed in due course!

Apparently Meridian TV will be filming at the caves tomorrow afternoon, we are still waiting for confirmation of the time but if anybody can get along then I am sure it would be helpful.

There is an article on the Margate blogspot which includes several comments from Simon Moores, a councillor supporting closure.

Apparently, there is a problem with the caves not being wheelchair accessible, which is not something I had heard before?

Yes I have heard this before but this was not listed as one of the points in the Schedule of works required by HSE.
