Installing new rides

I don't know much about rides at parks and suchlike, but how long does it take to dismantle/transport/reinstall new rides? With all the new rides being confirmed for this year, what are the logistics involved in getting a ride up and running, and is there enough time before Dreamland opens? I'm wondering if there are many possible obstacles such as insurance clearance, weather permitting installation of rides or anything? Or is this a relatively easy task to re-erect a ride at a new location? Basically, can everything be done in time for the opening? I certainly hope so!

The majority of rides are built up very quickly, for example, the move it at dreamland last year can go up and be ready to run in around 4 -5 hours and these sort of times apply to most flat rides, the rides that Harry Ayers is going to bring to Dreamland could all be up in the space of a few weeks I would of thought depending on how many people are working on them but it is not a very long job.

One of my regular annual jaunts is to the Great Dorset Steam Fair where they assemble a travelling rollercoaster, log flume and big wheel each year. We are talking the sort of size that many parks the sort of size of Dreamland would use, and they go up in 2 days max.

Last year we didn't think the rollercoaster was going to arrive. We exhibit at the show and get there early. Went out for the day whilst others were still setting up, and when we got back the rollercoaster had appeared from nowhere, and was running.

Thats much quicker than I thought would be possible so that's good to know. I thought it would be a long job but I don't really know how big or portable these rides are. Thanks for answering my question!
