If we all posted about things that are not really relevant then of course we could have more than you!

1) spamming posts like this won't do much apart from getting you banned
2) http://www.joylandbooks.co.uk/forum/memberlist.php go there and make it Deccending by total posts and you will see you're only 3rd LOL.
3) posting topics about alot of crap is just making the forums look bad so don't bother

Danny,

Was about to post how easy it is to update Avatars, but tested it first and you're right - there does seem to be a problem at the moment.

Were you trying to use the "Upload from machine" option on your profile page? This seems to be failing all the time claiming the file type is wrong even when it's not, the error message is at the top of the page and easy to miss.

The other 2 options "upload from URL" and "link to off site" DO work. You could try using one of those, if the graphic's on your machine you will need to upload it to some webspace to use this option though.

Only other possiblility is that you may be using too large an image, (should be 80*80 pixels and under 6kb for the upload option)

I've sent Nick a mail about the upload from machine option problem.

Cheers

Check the support forum - this problem has now been corrected. You can upload avatars now.
