Dreamland Non-official website

Was thinking about making a Dreamland Non-official website (Non-official because coz Mr Ayers doesn't want to make and official one) what will have all details of the park on it like opening hours, ticket prices(will get on the opening day) and will have pictures of all the rides. What do you all think about it? (Personally think it's the best since no one searching the net can currently find info on Dreamland)

Personally I dont think a website should be started, NIck has offered many ways of helping this years operator all of which have been refused, Nick has spent a lot of time on this site and as hes already said we have 10,500 hits per day so that should enough to help any operator on the Dreamland site, his efforts and support has been ignored so it should be left at that!

well maybe so but for one this is gunna be a none official website so of course it doesn't really matter to much who operates the park. Plus I think that if it has all information based on times, prices, pics etc it will be much faster and more effective than bothering nick with all these phone calls

Well I think its a really good idea, after searching for any up to date news on Dreamland on the internet and not finding anything (apart from this site)I think it will be a worthwhile effort. The important thing is to show everyone that Dreamland can and will be a fantastic attraction and wonderful day out!!!!!!! Whats the alternative???????

If you could get a copy of their official poster, put that up as the first page, and then link off from there, it would present a consistent image for the public. Only down side is any copyright issue?

But if I ran a business and someone put my own material on the web for me, I would be happy.

For what it costs I would suggest expecting to donate such an official sounding domain to an eventual decent owner of the park.

Harry Ayers told me that he is thinking about launching his own Dreamland website. Whether it will happen is anybody's guess, but I think a website would be helpful.

I would have thought dreamlandfunpark.co.uk or dreamlandmargate.co.uk would be the best options.

I prefer dreamlandmargate.co.uk

As it is a 'non-official' website. I would just go for it and get it up and running. You could wait forever for them to get an official one off the ground. Who knows - it might even get them to get their fingers out and do an official one.

It could include;

A ride index - pics - prices - events - opening days / hours - a park map
etc. etc.

It would be great it you could get lots of links to it from other unofficial theme park related sites. Usually people are happy to do this in return for a link to their site.

well thought long and hard about it and as the poll sugests dreamlandfunpark.co.uk is the best for the job. Personally I would leave it for the official website but as nick said they're not even sure if they will put up a website. I will be posting more information on how its going at a later date but in the meantime please keep posting comments on what you would like to see on this website.

Yep, i think if you can just get it going, yeah we would obviously like a well presented and fantastic website, and i'm sure it will be, just feel that holidaymakers and daytrippers need to have something to get info from!!!
Should imagine vital words are important. What do you use when you look for holidays in th uk - what would people enter if they were looking for places to visit - kent, thanet, margate, days out, family attraction ......maybe all of these would be useful to link???
