I had to buy £20 of tokens when I visited, and if we wanted to return later that day, we had to have at least 2 red tokens per person. I was in a group of 6, so as we did ot have enough tokens left, I had to buy admission again! Its ridiculous! There are no where near enough rides in the park to justify the admission, plus they would be losing out on trade where people want to see what is there before they go in. Its just another way of making dreamland un-viable, so it can close down, and the leisure boxes get granted.
I think it is disgusting that this has been allowed to happen to Dreamland, you can see by walking round the park that the present owners have no interest in it whatsoever - its dingy and dirty - a thing that would have never been allowed to happen in Dreamland years ago. It makes me think twice about visiting this expensive "travelling" fairground in future. I say travelling, because all the rides except the Scenic Railway fold up, and can be transported - like a travelling fairground. Such a shame they had to get rid of the rides which were built especially for the park.
From a very disappointed visitor
