Lets Face It Nothings Happening to dreamland apart from it looking worse than a travelling fair, i would rather pay money to watch paint dry the way this park is going i remember being a kid and it used to be so much better, lots more to do, they need somebody to come along whos willing to spend loads of cash to be able to help keep dreamland open people loved coming to dreamland now look whats happening NOTHING.

I agree, having Dreamland open in its current rundown state is having a negative impact.

As stated before, Thanet District Council need to make it crystal clear that there will be no change of use permitted on the site, in order that the eventual purchaser can concentrate on running an amusement park, and invest as necessary in the site.

Dreamland is in a run-down condition at the moment, but I personally would prefer to have it open as it is, than to be closed.

I agree open is better than closed even if the council are not saying ok it can stay as a amusment park then he could still try and help to keep it looking like one even at the end of it if he doesn't succed hope he does but if he doesn't he can still sell the old rides still keep them as his and open something somewhere else like a travelling fair coz he'll o well at that lol

It is good that the park has opened but I would like to add that the current operator has been offered a lot of support from the Campaign and as Mick T has stated help to advertise the park but no information has been provided by Mr Ayers for some reason?

When Sky TV wanted to film at Dreamland, which would have been massive free publicity, an enormous fee was demanded of them so not unnaturally, they declined to visit.

You have to wonder what the logic of this demand was.
