You know next to the garage, wow there is loads of ride bits ect, there was boats from the water chute, loads of the cabins from the zeplin, I wonder if there is whole rides round there, could be done up and used in the "new" dreamland if it happens, even if the cabins were done up and used as decoration and nostalga.

ya they've all been there for ages but that I know of there isn't much of a whole ride there just bits of bobs (replaced parts etc). Not to sure who owns the land and items either so dont even know if they can use them.

Sounds like a good idea to me - include a bit of history. It is likely that the current owner either doesn't want these items, or want's them kept for prosperity, so if they were mine, I would agree.

Can we find out who's they are?

The ground you are reffering to is as far as I am aware owned by Henk Bembom and his company Parkware, his website is www.parkware.co.uk

I must say I've never previously noticed any former Water Chute cars in that location, only a couple of former Zeppelin tower ride carriages. (I used to see these from the top of the old Wild Mouse ride over the last few years). There was also a large container-type with a faded Bemboms name on the side I seem to recall. I am sure Dave is correct that this area is used for ride parts storage by Henk Bembom.

I agree that it would be very nice to preserve some of these items, if possible, perhaps as part of memorabilia for a future state-of-the-art Dreamland. Particularly the Water Chute cars anyway, especially as I more recently learnt that they were from my childhood playground at Battersea Funfair. (A bit of personal nostalgia there; I'm really sad these classic rides are now near non-existent).

I wrote an article about the Water Chute at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, which made reference to the Dreamland Chute. Read it here:
