I agree that it seems too little too late and also smacks a bit of NIMBYism. No one started complaining about the redevelopment until the full scale of it was shown.

Hello all,
Many thanks for all the birthday wishes. I didn't really celebrate that much; had to make do with Jumpin' Jaks in Maidstone as Chicago Rock Cafe wouldn't let me in after midnight. (I made a late decision to go out as none of my friends were available sadly). So much for the new dawn of 24 hr drinking.
