Listed Building Applications Submitted

The Save Dreamland Campaign was launched by Joyland Books in January 2003 and is now supported by several thousand people. This is the place to discuss all aspects of saving Margate's famous amusement park and its iconic , Grade II listed Scenic Railway, Britain's oldest roller coaster.

In that case I might have to write another letter to chase up the missing objections. It's a bit of a worry if some aren't being officially registered, hopefully mine is a one off.

Good news!

Everyone who objected should have received letters this morning from TDC stating that the applications to demolish the buildings have been refused.

The Campaign has received five letters relating to: Belgrave House; Park Amusements; The Bungalow; 11-14 Belgrave Road; and Top Sub Station. All refused.

That's terrific news Sarah. Thanks for posting the positive news so quickly.

I wonder what Bob will have to say re this and the fencing?

David.

Sarah beat me to it by an hour and a half. Got my letters in the post this morning (well, I say morning, more like lunch time!).

Well done everyone. I don't want to sound complacent, but we're getting onto a bit of a roll here and I'm really confident that this current wave of success can be carried through into the Public Consultation. Let's hope the Council are equally tough in making them remove their fence.
