The Save Dreamland Disco was mentioned on Invicta Radio today on the morning zoo saying that one of the DJs may come along.

That's amazing! - I wonder if Neil Taylor will be attending then?

(Just shows how long ago I used to endure that station!)

I know it's the county's radio station, and I used to be on their initial listening panel after their conception, but I never really liked their severely limited playlist style. Maybe they've improved since, however, my musical taste is probably miles away from anything they'd even think of playing.

However, I was thinking of trying to contact Tony Blackburn today on his BBC London Soul and Dance Show from midday to 2pm (94.9 FM and DAB - hopefully unless the football takes preference on their DAB output). He appears in the Dreamland Remembered book looking at the former Mick Tomlinson park models in the late seventies. Because of this he just might be interested in continuing his connection with the park. One can only try anyway!

You never know there could be a surprise or two tonight.
