Scenic Railway this Sunday!!!

Postby imansfield » 24 Sep 2003, 23:41

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know about an un-official event which may take place at Dreamland this Sunday. Dave Collard from the Scenic Railway has offered to hold a last minute ERS to mark the end of the season. It still hasnt been confirmed that the ride will open next season, so he wants to give enthusiasts one last chance to ride.

The ERS will take place from 6pm and run for a couple of hours depending on numbers. Cost will be 10 pounds per head, and the event is open to anyone who wants to support the Scenic.

If you would like to come down and support the Scenic one last time could you please e-mail Dave Collard on - Kentdave771@aol.com - and register your interest by 10pm Friday night. Please also include a mobile number if possible. Remember, this could be your last chance to ride as it still hasnt been confirmed that the park will be open next year!!

Thanks,

Ian Mansfield

Great idea Ian!

I have e-mailed Dave Collard and will definitely go if it goes ahead. (I should finish work by 3.15pm that day so it should be quite convenient for me).

Martin :o

PS I know Dan from the ECC is coming down again so he should be able to participate. It will be a great close to the 2003 season, and just before my upcoming USA trip.
