Thanks so much for posting that on google as my highly "trustworthy" Philips DVD recorder managed to just erase a complete blank Philips disc I attempted to use. So much for modern technology! (tape, anyone?)

I feel like throwing the thing out the window. Strangely, the machine doesn't seem to like its own branded discs. (The cheap ones I bought in Lidl seem a lot more effective). Shame I chose to stick that Philips disc in today.

Anyone know if C4 are repeating that show?

I thought it was very well presented. Would have been greater if the park season had not ended so prematurely. Such is life I guess.

I thought to myself, when you said you had set your DVD to record it, that'll never happen !

I have learnt from experience that the automatic recording timing function on any Video/DVD only works with programmes that you're not that bothered about or the wife wants recording. With anything you can't miss, or important, they never work. It's a fact of life.

Octron DVD-RW from Lidl rock. You may laugh but I recorded it on one ! Used Windows Movie Maker (shipped with XP if you look in your computer hard enough) to compress it to a reasonable size and then just uploaded to Google. I was quite pleased with the finished quality as it was the first time I'd attemted it.

Mainly it was for Stateside Jims benefit. If you want the original you are more than welcome to it. PM me with your address and I'll pop it in the post.
