Dreamland is an issue and potential candidates for the council should be quizzed on their views
for what its worth I think that if waterbridge were to run the park with the input of established showfolk it would do well
and that is only my personal opinion
there are a lot of showpeople who are fantastic at providing the equiptment required at dreamland and can do it well
it needs a good park administrator to make a surplus rather than a deficit
the showmen will keep the machines running in first class condition
and will provide entertainment for the public
but the park needs an administrator of proven ability with PR skills to promote the venue
this is a huge task to place on any single lessee and requires the assistance of the park owners in order to make any money
I know the webbs spend a lot of money advertising in London
from their own pockets and the help promissed from the park owners did not materialise
this needs to change
