I wouldn't worry too much about those. They're just automated signups attempting to spam the board. I can't see a BPB forum link unless I'm missing something EAS knows about with that particular username.

Due to the authentication process (put in place after these spams got out of control a while ago) they can't post until authorised by Nick and for ones as obvious as these it is not going to happen and the account gets deleted.

Thanks. It's a shame that the signup procedure had to be changed, but in the light of some of the forum trolls a necessary decission. More trolls does sound worrying. I know that banning people is controvercial, as it would be hypocritical if we were to criticise the Council for not listening and then silence our opponents, but to be honest when people get rude or deliberately set out to disrupt the campaign it becomes a real danger. We need to focus on the job in hand and not 'do you know who I am' detective work. I guess the problem is it's all too easy to get drawn in by the trolls and I know I've been guilty of this in the past.

Well - don't worry about it, it's really to do in a couple of cases with another site and some who seem to have taken exception to me! If they want a row I can't be bothered.

The SPAM sites with the weblinks I can't see anyone posting from and can be deleted obviously. Maybe the others have calmed down by now.

I look forward to our (possibly not so) brave Native American joining in with the happy band (and Bob) of those who have an interest in Dreamland, and not trying to be silly here. As for the other - bpb neil, hairyboglin, whatever name he's decided on here - let's hope he's calmed down a bit too and has something more relevant to say next time.

It was the automated signups I was refering to. They stick out a mile and are just asking to be exterminated.
