Dream Homes

Two blocks of flats could be built next to Margate fun park Dreamland. Developers have asked Thanet Council for permission to build on former Bembom Brothers warehouses off Eaton Road. Seventy-two flats could be built in two blocks and the application will be discussed by Thanet Council next month.

Intriguing stuff - I think I know where this location is (to the left of the former Wild Mouse?) I just hope it doesn't impede any future park's operation if storage space is diminished for spare ride parts etc.

The full planning application details are available on :

http://www.ukplanning.com

Select "Thanet" as your council and then "Search Applications" on "Eaton". The top result is this application, a previous application for the same site that was withdrawn is also shown.

Don't believe it's anything to do with Waterbridge from a very brief look through.
