ive been looking through the archives of the forum and found this interesting post from bob

heres what he had to say on his very 1st post:



"i have not been to Margate for a few years but even then Dreamland was rundown dirty and tacky as was much of the Seafront. Its sad to see how much the once vibrant town centre has been run down. Whilst the traditional seaside holidays have largely gone for ever there is still a large market for short breaks but to be succesfull it needs amusements and entertainment all of which is almost none existant in Margate today. The town centre seafront also needs a good tidy up it is an absolute dump at present . The town needs to present an attractive image to attract and get back trippers"


so no way is bob connected with dreamland and i just think he just a drama queen looking for attention
anyone else agree?

here here, just a troll siting under the bridge who pops up every know and again when someone has fed him.

Yes, Bob is what we on the internet call a 'troll'. He comes and posts just to cause conflict or be negative. Trolls only have power if we respond to them. That's exactly what they want. The troll is best ignored and his comments and posts left to go unanswered and fall off the list.

I'd hoped he'd finally gone away as I'd like to see this place stay pro-active. This little cozy spot is called Save Dreamland, and I hope it continues to be focused on that goal, and on issues that are related to saving the park and relevant in nature.

Of course people are entitled to their opinions, but Bob only seems to be focused on the closure of Dreamland, and I personally encourage him to start his own forum and campaign on that topic. However, the nature of the troll is to intrude upon what others have built and try to taint it with their negativity, so I don't see that happening. Hopefully he's found a positive way to channel his energy, but more likely, he's gone elsewhere to spout his negativity, or eaten himself into a sugar coma.
