one comment from Blackpool was its so quiet here even the donkeys are giving each other free rides

A little ironic this story I feel as recent headline articles in the press have been indicating the complete reversal of fortunes for a number of seaside resorts. Maybe "Cackpool" didn't come in the running there though.

Joking aside, I believe Blackpool is doing its best to upgrade itself along the seafront, however I will not be visiting the place for some time to come after the events at Southport last September onwards.
