Pleasureland had essentially survived two world wars in different formats. I know the name Pleasureland was coined after WW1, but you can trace the origins and and some of the rides (eg River caves) back earlier. She isn't inspiring much confidence.

That area of the UK saw a hell of a lot less of the air raids of WW2 and even less during WW1 the South East saw the vast vast majority of WW2 air raids Southend was hit hard as it was a muster point for thosands of Ships, RAF Rochford and its military factorys.

Well they did. Bought it on a credit agreement, but it's not finished yet. Pleasureland covered the cost of the whole unit though. As I say, that was something that was posted on a board from "one of the Pleasureland staff". So how true it actually is, who knows?

So it's a £5 million coaster with an extra £3 million being spent on relocating & retheming right?
The other day I typed 'Blackpool Infusion' into Google and got taken to a swingers club website. Wonder if BPB are aware of this connection? Or maybe they are sponsoring the ride.
