For sure. I drive an articulated lorry and sometimes deliver to new-build developments. Developers invariably build at the front of the plot first, so they can sell those houses and recoup cash while they build more houses further back.
From the day those buyers move in to the first six houses on a 200 house estate, they whinge about the noisy juggernauts driving past their houses onto the site, about the mud, the noise, everything.
Happily, Dreamland's most ardent opponent on this forum seems to be taking a break at the moment, otherwise I'm sure he too would be keen to point out how awful it must be having to put up with the sound of people having fun while you are moving in to your new home.
