Fabulous stuff as always.
A while ago, you were saying we were all in agreement with you and you were ready to misquote us in your publicity material, whatever that was. How times change.
You want investment. Phillip Miller wants to invest. Sell him the site Bob. You won't have to worry yourself about it then. If you don't want your job any more sit back and watch how it's done.
'Hot air' emmanates mostly from you. The same refusal to answer basic questions; the same boring old irrelevances and misquotes. If you are equating 'hot air' with freedom of speech, and if you are seriously saying that people are only entitled to hold views on their own local issues then you are even dafter in real life than you appear in print and clearly have no understanding of democracy. Anyway, local people have made it abundantly what they want and it's not the 'cock and bull' 'mealy mouthed' drivel that comes from you. They want a committment to a complete revitilisation of the whole Dreamland site as an amusement park. That is real committment Bob. That I will subscribe to. Not your half hearted attempt to prove an amusement park won't work in order to build houses.
And as for 'out of towners' Bob that's where your money should be coming from, that is if you hadn't spent the last few years putting them off. To say that they shouldn't have the right to express an opinion is quite frankly idiotic and childish in the extreme. 'Will somebody please put Bob's toys back in his pram.'
Sell it to Miller. You know it makes sense.
Thanks as always,
Taffy.
Phillip Miller had several years to come up with an offer for Dreamland. He was unable to do so and is no longer in the running. It would be very imprudent to consider developing or investing in a loss-making business ultimately this would lead to financial failure with consequences for the town. The positive consequences, however, of investing in a profitable business such as the proposed Dreamland Leisure Park are very good news for Margate and the surrounding area and will offer substantial year round employment opportunities. Already several companies are expressing interest in this venture.
ok bob who will come to margate in the summer to come and use this lesiure centre
answer is nobody
most tourists that visit would use the beach and swim in the sea
and also use the amusement park for ALL the family
not spend money on a crappy site that 95% of margate residents DONT want
maybe you wanna open your eyes and see the truth
i personally DONT believe you have anything to do with dreamland and i dont believe you live in margate
every post you write doesnt make any sense, and when people ask you questions, you cant answer them
if you go through every thread people have asked you lots of questions which you cant answer
for example
in a another thread bob said "there would be a gym built where the former arcade was
FACT
there is a road to be built there that will go straight into dreamland completed this summer(read gazette report for comfirmation)
so there you go "bob",1 example where your facts are wrong (surprise surprise)
maybe people should start a thread with questions for "bob" to answer, and lets see if he can answer any of them, because personally i dont think he would as he knows very very little about anything
